Women's Ministry: A Morning in Nature | Sat., 4/27
Our women are having "A Morning in Nature"--a time where our women can enjoy nature, coffee & pastries, connection, walking in God's beautiful creation, and a nature drawing activity.
This will take place at beautiful Point Pinole on Saturday, April 27 from 10am-12pm. All women of all ages are invited! Leashed dogs too!
We want to recognize God's faithfulness to all of those who serve our church! If you’re currently serving with our church in an official capacity, we want to celebrate you and God’s faithfulness to our church body.
Join us for a celebratory lunch on Sunday, May 5 from 12-2pm as we say thank you for serving your church family on Sunday morning and beyond. Please RSVP if you plan to come!
GIVE BAKED GOODS!
Do you love to bake? Would you like to bake some goodies for College Students?
If so, sign up no later than Thursday, April 25, and on Friday, April 26, we'll share the information of the student(s) you'll be baking for. Delivery should happen on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, April 29 - May 2.
If you cannot deliver the baked goods yourself, we are available to help, if needed, on Wednesday, May 1.
As a bonus - we're encouraging (but not requiring) the bakers to write a short note or card for the student you are baking for. A word of encouragement, bible verse, or quick prayer can go a long way during finals.
RECEIVE BAKED GOODS! If you're a college student in the Bay during dead week, we'd love to bless you with some baked goodies!
Responses are needed by the end of the day, Thursday, April 25.
Our volunteer bakers will receive their baking assignments on Friday, April 26, and get in touch with you to arrange delivery between Monday, April 29, and Thursday, May 2.
Support our Youth Group! They’re having a Bake Sale for their Summer Retreat at Hume Lake this summer. The kids baking and manning the Bake Sale are those seeking financial aid, so please be generous with your contribution!
The Bake Sale takes place after our service on April 28 in the Courtyard.
Alpha is a place to connect with other people who are open to exploring life, faith, and meaning. Each session includes a time to share a meal and connect with others, hear a short talk on an element of the Christian faith, and then a chance for each person to share their own questions with the group.
Our next Alpha will be hosted by Glenn and Rina Woodfin in North Berkeley through June. If you invite someone you are welcome to join with them.
All are welcome to join, no matter your background or beliefs. So come hungry and get ready to engage in enlightening conversations, or just come and listen. We’re excited to meet you.
Baptism is a beautiful sacrament for Christians to publicly profess their faith in the saving work of Christ. If you'd like to get baptized or have questions about baptism, contact Pastor Paul at paul@solanochurch.orgfor more information.
We're having baptisms on Sunday, May 12 after service. Celebrate God's work of salvation as we baptize those who've decided to publicly proclaim their faith in Christ!
All Church Picnic | Sun., 5/19 | Albany Memorial Park
As we being to enter into the summer, we want to get our church together for a picnic!
We'll be meeting again at Memorial Park in Albany, on Sunday, May 19, from 12-2pm, two miles from the church campus. There's a play structure for kids, a dog park, and grills.
It will be a lightly organized event—so we're asking everyone to bring their own picnic and a little extra to share. Feel free to organize with friends, families, or home groups.
Shade tents are encouraged, as shady tables are limited.
If you're new, we'll have food and a separate table prepared for you to help you get to know our church.

Join an Activity Group! | Movies & Board Games
If you like board games or watching movies, we’re kick-starting our Activity Groups–a way for us to grow connections and relationships through shared interests and activities.
It’s as simple as joining a group on our Activity Group page and you’ll be added to a Whatsapp group where you or others can share to play a board game or watch a movie. No obligation or pressure to join any of the invitations. We want it to be a simple, casual way to engage in life together.
We hope it will be an opportunity to initiate discipleship and missional relationships.
